Movie Review: Iron Man 2

Iron Man 2, the sequel to the ultra-successful 'Iron Man' movie, had very high expectations to be one of the very few movies that are better than the original, and my question here is: did it do that?

I'd say the question to that question is unknown, it had a few features that where better than the first movie's features, and it also had some features that where not as good as the first movie's features.

Like all sequels, Iron Man 2 had multiple plots, as well as multiple villains, in most movies the multiple plots and villains idea does not work, but in Iron Man 2, they all worked well, but I'd say that my favorite plot is the idea that the heart piece that's keeping Tony alive, is also killing him, that plot had great potential, and lived up to it as well, another plot i liked was the villain's part of the movie, especially because the villains where Justin Hammer and Whiplash, i think that brought allot to the movie as well, other than that other great plots in the movie include Pepper becoming CEO of Stark Industries, and Rodey becoming war machine.

Most of those plots all shared one climax, which was the final battle between Iron Man, War Machine, and Whiplash, that was just a great battle, strong, entertaining, and also like all the movie, the effects where great.

But however, the movie was not all perfect, it may sound like it on this review, but it's not, the one thing that kept the movie away from being perfect is the begging, Iron Man 2 had a slow and boring start, thank god the rest of this movie was not boring or slow.

Overall, Iron Man 2 is one of my favorite comic book adaptions of all time, and as for a sequel, it's one of the very few to go on a very high level, I'd say it goes up to the level of 'Spider-Man 2' or 'The Dark Night', the best sequels I've ever seen, and Iron Man 2 is now one of them, but there is still one more question that i was not able to answer: was Iron Man 2 as good, or better, or not as good as Iron Man? what do you think?
